Dr. Woods Woolwine

Dr. Woods Woolwine

Dr. Woolwine earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at UC San Francisco and completed a residency at the WhiteCap Institute for implant training, where he later taught implants, tissue grafting, bone grafting and occlusion to other dentists across the country. He is IV-sedation certified, which is what allows complex surgical and full-mouth implant cases to be handled comfortably and in-house. He returned to Texas to practice in San Antonio, and lives here with his wife Kristy and their three children.

Dr. Kara Tapangan

A Texas native from the Rio Grande Valley, Dr. Tapangan earned her biology degree at St. Mary's University and her DDS at UT Health San Antonio, where she received the Ultradent Esthetic Dentistry Award, the AAOMS Dental Implant Student Award and the UT Health Award for Clinical Excellence. She has been named Best Dentist in San Antonio multiple times and has completed hundreds of continuing-education hours in advanced cosmetic dentistry and implant surgery. She stays active in numerous dental associations and study clubs.
